The image shows a mountainous landscape from an elevated perspective. The horizon is near the top, with jagged peaks against the sky. The brushstrokes are detailed, capturing the texture of the mountains and the play of light and shadow. The color palette is primarily gray. In the foreground, a group with oxen and seated individuals suggests a moment of rest. The mountains in the distance ascend towards the background where clouds mingle with the peaks.
