The sculpture depicts a lion standing on the ground with its mouth open and front legs slightly raised, rearing up at a tree stump. There are two monkeys perched on the top of the tree stump, with the larger monkey holding onto the smaller one as they stare downwards at the lion. The lion is a golden color. The tree stump has a textured surface and is dark green or black. The sculpture captures the interaction between the animals with detail that suggests movement and tension. The base of the sculpture has a multicolored surface.
