The image shows Borthwick Castle on a hill, with the horizon obscured by the castle and surrounding foliage. The style is fine etching lines creating intricate details and contrasts, particularly in the stone walls and foliage textures. The monochromatic color palette uses black on a cream background to emphasize light and shadow. Dark trees frame the lower corners, while the castle's towers dominate the center against a light sky with faint cloud indications.
