The painting depicts a view through tall trees towards the sky. The horizon is low, obscured by a structure and dense foliage. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive with an impressionistic style. Swirls and dabs of paint suggest tree shapes and a roofline. The color palette is warm and earthy with deep browns, greens, reds, and blues. Light yellow and orange patches break the darker tones, signifying sunlight or reflections on the ground and tree trunks.
