This is a black and white photograph taken in 1901 of a classroom. The image depicts a group of children in the classroom with a large chalkboard at the center. The chalkboard is filled with handwritten notes and drawings including the alphabet, text about rabbits, a detailed drawing of a rabbit's skull, and a house with plants. The desks are orderly and there is an object at the front of the room where children are gathered. The setting conveys an educational scene from the early 20th century.
