The image depicts a group of people seated in pews, leaning forward with their heads and upper bodies resting on the back of the pew in front of them. The person closest to the camera is wearing a light, patterned dress with a wide sash tied around the waist, their head covered by fabric. Others are also dressed in light-colored robes, with their heads obscured. A handheld fan, a backpack, and papers or a book are seen on the pew next to them. A microphone stand is in the foreground, suggesting a place for gathering. The background shows a simple interior with a radiator against the wall, a wooden railing leading to an open window revealing leaves and a fence outside. Light from the window creates shadows inside the room.
