This is a photograph of a doorway through an adobe structure. The passage is framed by thick, textured walls of an adobe building. The surface of the walls is uneven, showing the handcrafted nature of the clay and straw composition. The doorway leads to an outdoor area, where another similar structure is visible in the background along with dry vegetation and what appears to be dirt or sandy ground. The interplay of light and shadow on the inside surfaces of the doorway creates a contrasting effect, highlighting the shadowy interior and the sunlit exterior beyond.
