The sculpture is a profile of three historical figures on a round bronze medallion. The figures are embossed on the medallion, slightly overlapping each other from left to right. The first figure has a distinctive 18th-century hairstyle depicted with wavy lines. The names "WASHINGTON," "DE GRASSE-TILLY," and "ROCHAMBEAU" are engraved on the medallion in capital letters, separated by minimalist lines. Roman numerals "MDCCLXXXI–MCMXXXI" are below the busts. The medallion's surface is polished and smooth, highlighting the intricate detailing of the profiles against the simple background.
