The man has distinct facial features, clean-shaven with a small patch of facial hair below his lower lip. His hair is styled with a middle part and combed back on the sides. He is dressed in a dark suit with a waistcoat and white shirt, along with a bowtie. A chain attached to his waistcoat indicates a pocket watch. Leaning on a table with a patterned cloth, he has an open book in front of him. The background is plain, and the photograph is framed in gold with floral patterns.
