This painting shows a multi-tool utensil with a knife, a two-pronged fork, and a spoon emerging from a polished brown handle. The knife extends right, the fork points left, and the spoon points upward, near the center of the painting. The utensils are painted in shades of gray, with some slight variation - the knife has small spots of dark blue discoloration, and the spoon is reflective, showing areas of light yellow and cream amid the gray. Text reading "WILLIAM R. LUDWIG" is located near the bottom right. The background of the painting is off-white paper, and one rectangular section at the top left corner is a slightly lighter shade.
