across bottom printed in image: (WX1) WASHINGTON, JUNE 20--GRIEF--An unidentified picket, partly shielded in / her grief by a fellow sign carrier’s placard, cries and mops away tears / as she walked the White House sidewalk last night about the time Julius / and Ethel Rosenburg [sic] died in the electric chair at Sing Sing for giving / away atom secrets. She was one of the pro-Rosenberg pickets, vainly / asking for Presidential clemency for the condemned pair. News of the / deaths of the Rosenbergs broke up the picket line which has ringed / the White House for many months.
