The image shows a zeppelin explosion. A large airship is tilted and partially engulfed in flames above a tall mooring mast. Bright clouds of smoke and fire dominate the right side of the image, contrasting with the darker silhouette of the airship and the steel framework of the mast at the center. Small figures and structures are visible below, giving perspective on the scale of the zeppelin. Smoke and debris fill the foreground, with a sepia tone giving an antique quality to the scene.
