Artist, German, 1631 - 1685

The image shows a group of sheep resting on the ground. The perspective is slightly elevated. The landscape slopes downward, with some structures partially visible in the distance on the right side. The engraving style uses fine lines to create texture in the wool of the sheep and the stone surface. The color palette is monochromatic, in black and gray tones. Closest to the viewer, there is a detailed cluster of sheep. In the background, there are rocks, foliage, and trees, with hints of a hillside or path leading towards the less distinct horizon.
