The sculpture is a grand tomb or sepulcher dedicated to Admiral Nelson. It features a central seated female figure adorned with a crown, holding a scepter and a wreath. The tomb is rectangular with relief sculptures on its sides depicting various figures in classical attire. The sculpture is made of stone or marble, with a monochrome appearance in varying shades of grey. Surrounding the central figure are decorative motifs such as lions, garlands, and flame-topped torches. A plaque at the base contains inscriptions in a classical style. The structure is elevated on a stepped plinth.
