This is a photograph of a handwritten message on a piece of paper from the American Academy in Rome. The note reads: "I'm doing what you are reading about - Love". The paper includes the letterhead "AMERICAN ACADEMY IN ROME" with an address and other details. The message is written in large cursive script, occupying most of the page. It ends with an undersigned symbol or initials, and the name "G. Herms" is printed in the lower right corner.
