The image depicts a port scene with ships, a statue on a pedestal, people, and animals. The detailed etching shows the waterfront with ships in the background, a central ship with ornate carvings, and a variety of activity in the foreground. The fine line work and cross-hatching add texture and depth to the scene. The color scheme is monochromatic, with sepia or brown tones, typical of an etching.
