Associated Names

Artist, Norwegian, 1863 - 1944

The image shows two figures. One figure is sitting with legs bent and slightly apart, leaning forward with a hand on the ground and the other hand touching the face of the second figure. The second figure is lying on their back with their face tilted upwards and hair flowing. Both figures are depicted in a linear style with fine lines and shading for form and depth. The seated figure is shirtless with short hair. The background is minimal with line patterns suggesting a textured surface.
