Artist, American, 1819 - 1902

Damaged branches of leafless trees twist against a blank sky in this horizonal black and white photograph. Blasted and fallen trunks lie in scrubby growth along the bottom third of the picture. A structure is visible on a far hill near the horizon, just right of center.
