Artist, American, 1954 - 2020

A branch laden with pale apples has partially broken from the trunk so apples that had grown at the top of the branch now brush the ground in this horizontal black and white photograph. Dark blotches mar the smooth surfaces of some apples. A wall of dense trees extends into the distance next to a grassy lane, to our left.
