Jungle Gym at Edge of Lake Superior

1991

Andrew Baugnet

Artist, American, born 1964

An angular jungle gym sticks out of a grassy lawn like an oversized staple in this horizontal black and white photograph. We are off to the left side so the horizonal bars on each narrow end are visible. On the far side of the jungle gym, a thin V-shaped tree with a puff of a canopy on one side grows up and over the equipment. The horizon of a pale body of water comes halfway up this photograph, and a few thin clouds sweep across the sky.
