We look across a stretch of softly waving long grass at a drive-in movie screen tethered to the ground with long guy wires in this square black and white photograph. The base is dark under the lighter panels that make the screen. The horizon comes just under halfway up this composition, and it lines up with the foot of the screen so the whole is outlined against a blank sky.
