The man has neatly-combed dark hair, smooth facial features, a high forehead, and light-colored eyes. He is dressed in a dark suit jacket, high-buttoned vest, white shirt with a high collar, and a dark bow tie. There is a watch chain on his vest. The background is plain. The image is framed in an ornate, gilded frame with a velvet lining.
