This grayscale photograph shows a man and a woman in an indoor setting. The man is seated, wearing a dark suit with a white shirt. He is leaning forward, reaching towards the woman. She is sitting slightly in front of him in a patterned chair, with one arm resting on the back of the chair and her head turned away from us to look at the man. The woman wears a flowing, short-sleeved white dress, and her hair is styled in a bob. Both people have pale skin. They are sitting in front of a dressing table or vanity, which holds a lamp with a decorative base and other indistinguishable objects. Behind the vanity, there is a large curtain on the left and part of a wall with moldings on the right.
