This painting shows a wooden shoe form against a plain, off-white background. The shoe form is brown, with detailed wood grain and texture painted in a variety of brown tones. There seems to be a metal reinforcement or fastening detail near the toe, and a few small gray nails are visible in different parts of the form. The shoe form is positioned horizontally, the toe facing the left and the heel facing the right.
