This is a painting of a marionette with two heads, one showing a cheerful expression and the other a serious expression. The marionette is dressed in a harlequin costume with a pattern of brown and black diamonds. The costume includes a ruffled white collar. Strings attach the heads to the marionette, indicating manipulation.
