lower right in watercolor: RAE / 1/4/38; crnter verso in black ink: Quilt (Mrs Baldridge) / Size - approximately 85" square / Drawing about 3/8 actual size / Made in Ohio about 1820 / 1st Columbus State Fair took the blue ribbon prize / Mrs. Baldridge presented it to the DAR Museum in Washington / where it is at present / Mrs. Joseph Baldridge is the National vice chairman of the DAR Museum.
