This print shows a group of adults and children within a circular frame decorated with ivy-like leaves. In the center is a seated woman in profile, facing the left. She sits on a low bench or step. She has a straight nose, arched eyebrows, and dark hair styled in a loose updo, and she is wearing a flowing gown with a low neckline and puffed sleeves. She appears to hold a large, round object in her right hand and a small knife-like object in her left hand. On the left, a small child stands in front of her. The child is nude except for a loose shirt, and has short, curly hair. Two more people are on the ground behind the child, one that may be a child and one that may be an adult, both wearing dresses and looking towards the child. On the right, behind the seated woman, are two more people, one young child in a dress and one child or adult in a wide-brimmed hat and collared shirt. All of the people have pale skin. The setting includes potted plants and large urns, along with a ledge or window on the right. Some objects are scattered on the ground, including a cluster of what look like turnips on the right, and in the center some long objects and a small round ball.
