This is a drawing of a large, bearded figure carrying a child across a river. The scene is depicted with intricate line work and shading. The bearded figure is shown wading through the river, grasping a staff for support while carrying the child on their shoulder. The child is clothed in a hooded garment and gesturing with one hand. Surrounding them is a detailed landscape with trees, rocky formations, and distant mountains. Objects hang from tree branches in the upper background, and small figures are in the distance. Light and dark contrast creates a dramatic atmosphere. It is in the style of Albrecht Dürer.
