Artist After, American, 1836 - 1910

This is a drawing of a rural scene with children and a dog resting outdoors. The image depicts a tranquil rural setting where a dog relaxes on the grass beside two children; one is lying down while wearing a wide-brimmed hat, another is sitting cross-legged, and there is a third child sitting a little further away. In the background, there is a small house surrounded by trees, and laundry is strung up on a line, fluttering in the breeze. A person can be seen doing an activity near the house.
