This etching shows a white landscape with a person riding a sled pulled by dogs. At the top of the print are lines of trees and the bottom of a rocky slope. Below, the person on the sled points forward, directing a line of five dogs towards the right. Some of the dogs appear to rest, sitting on the ground, while others stand. The dogs and person cast long, dark shadows on the white ground below them. The line of dogs is above the middle point of the print, and the lower half is empty. The lines of the etching are thin and dark against the white paper.
