The image is a black and white engraving of two full-length figures in an old-style scene. The person on the left, seen mostly from the back, appears to be male and is standing with his right leg lifted, resting on an elevated surface. His head is turned towards the companion. He has short, wavy hair and is dressed in a detailed garment with puffed sleeves and an elaborate doublet, holding an object in his right hand that hangs by his side. The person on the right is facing the viewer, with her head turned slightly towards her companion. She has ornate, curly hair styled around her head, and is wearing a richly patterned dress with puffed and ruffled sleeves. The background shows a lightly sketched landscape with vegetation and scattered objects on the ground. In the upper corners of the image, there are a few distinct markings, including a small drawing or mark on the right.
