Based on the appearance of the Hotel and Industrial Mart at 515 Madison Avenue (left background), which was completed in late summer 1931, this photograph and Key Set number 1388 were made in May or June 1931 (see Photographic Views of New York, 1870s–1970s, nos. 908.C2–C3 and 509.B1).
