The image shows two men in an elaborately decorated room. One man is seated on the right, visible from head to knees, on a cushioned chair. He has an oval face with detailed features and wears a decorative robe with ruffles. He holds a small object in one hand and rests the other hand on a table covered with a patterned cloth. The man standing to his left is dressed in a detailed coat, knee breeches, and stockings. The room has intricate wainscoting and decorative wall panels. Above the seated man, there is a wall ornament, possibly a mirror or clock. Nearby, another piece of furniture is draped with fabric.
