Artist After, French, 1741 - 1814

The image shows two central figures surrounded by multiple individuals. The figure on the left is in an assertive stance, wearing a helmet, classical armor, and a draped garment. The figure on the right has shoulder-length hair and is dressed in a tunic with a decorative border and a cloak, raising one hand. They both hold shields, one of which is prominently decorated. Soldiers stand around them, some holding spears and helmets. Banners and standards are visible in the background, with a cloudy sky overhead.
