The image shows a half-length depiction of a woman standing with her body slightly angled to the right, gazing forward. She has an elaborate hairstyle, with her hair styled up, and is wearing an ornate dress with a ruffled collar. The woman is adorned with a necklace and has her hands carefully placed, with one hand resting on a table holding books and fabric. The setting is framed within an oval shape bordered by a classical design motif, including cherubs, floral arrangements, and possibly heraldic symbols. The background is detailed with classical figures and decorative elements.
