The image is a portrait showing the upper half of a man's body. He is positioned slightly to the side, giving a three-quarter view of his face. He has a defined facial structure, a prominent nose, full beard, and neatly styled short hair. His expression is neutral. He wears a period garment with a high, elaborate ruffled collar, closely gathered around his neck. The attire features embroidery, buttons down the front, and a medal hanging from his neck. The background has a brickwork design with an arching pattern over the top. At the bottom, there is a cartouche with Latin text.
