He wears a period garment with a high, elaborate ruffled collar, closely gathered around his neck. The attire features embroidery, buttons down the front, and a medal hanging from his neck. The background has a brickwork design with an arching pattern over the top. At the bottom, there is a cartouche with Latin text.
