This is an engraved portrait of a man wearing armor. The man has strong, defined features including deeply set eyes and a broad nose. He has voluminous wavy hair, a full beard, and a mustache. He is wearing detailed armor with rivets and embossed patterns, as well as a fabric sash across his chest. Surrounding the portrait is an oval border with Latin text, and there are closely spaced horizontal lines in the background. Additional Latin text is visible at the bottom of the image.
