The image shows a man depicted from the chest upwards. He has a long, narrow face, a pointed beard, slightly arched eyebrows, wavy hair, and is wearing a high-collared garment with an elaborate ruff around the neck. His clothing is richly decorated with embroidered patterns and a small crown and coat of arms appear next to him. The border is decorated with floral motifs and the background features closely lined shading. The top and bottom borders contain inscriptions with ornate lettering.
