The image depicts an engraving of a man from the waist up. He faces slightly to the left with his hands clasped in front of him. The man has prominent cheeks, a small closed mouth, and a short, neatly trimmed beard. He wears an elaborately adorned hat with jewels and a feather, an opulent robe with a fur collar, and detailed fabric around his neck. He wears a ring on his right hand and holds a small object. A coat of arms is seen in the background, with an inscription above reading "HENRICVS DEI GRA REX ANGLIAE" and the year 1549 inscribed beside the coat of arms.
