The image shows a portrait of a man positioned in a formal pose. He has a serious expression, with closely set eyes, a straight nose, and lips that are slightly pursed. His hair is styled in a short, voluminous manner with curls. He is adorned in an elaborate attire featuring a richly embroidered doublet and a large ruffled collar. Across his chest runs a diagonal sash secured with decorative brooch-like objects, and he holds a baton-like object in his right hand. Surrounding the portrait is an oval frame with inscriptions, and above the frame is a crest. The background is elaborate, with illustrations of armor and weaponry on either side.
