The image shows a central figure on a cross surrounded by four other figures. The central figure has a halo around their head and appears gaunt with emphasis on ribs and bones. The surrounding figures have halos and are in different standing or kneeling positions. They wear robes with visible folds and are in supportive poses. The background is dark and aged, suggesting an ancient painting.
