The initial is set against a gold background with red and blue foliage-like decorations. To the left of the initial is a figure draped in robes standing on a green base. The figure is stylized with a halo surrounding the head. The text on the page is written in a medieval Latin script, with the first line highlighted in red. The style is typical of medieval manuscript illumination.
