The image depicts three people in a religious context. In the center is a man on a cross, with a beard and long hair, wearing a crown of thorns and a halo. Two figures with halos stand on either side of the cross. One figure wears a robe and a veil, looking down, while the other wears robes and clasps their hands looking up. At the base of the cross are a skull and foliage. The background is plain, focusing on the figures and the crucifixion scene.
