The image is an engraving portrait depicting a person from the upper body up. The individual faces forward in a three-quarter position with a formal appearance. The person has a youthful face with prominent eyes, smooth skin, and hair styled back. They wear elaborate clothing with a high lace collar, a doublet, and a fur-accented cloak. A medallion or brooch is on the chest area. The background has scrolling decoration, an inscription, emblems, and book motifs on both sides of the person. The portrait includes a poetic inscription at the bottom and a coat of arms.
