This image shows a waist-up portrait of a man seated and facing forward. His facial features include a high forehead, prominent cheekbones, a small mustache, and a short pointed beard. His hair is neatly combed and appears to be dark in color. He is wearing a formal period outfit with a large lace ruff around his neck, a detailed buttoned doublet, and puffed sleeves. Additionally, there is an oval frame around the portrait with the inscription "THE LIVELY PORTRAITURE OF SIR THOMAS OVERBURY Aetatis suae 32." The background consists of intricately lined patterns. Below the portrait, there is a block of printed text in ornate script. The overall presentation is that of an engraved portrait.
