Beside him is a smaller scene depicting a figure kneeling before a seated pope, with Latin writings. The man has a long face, prominent eyes, a small mustache, and mid-length hair. The background has a dark, cross-hatched texture with a light beam shining towards him. Below the portrait are English text lines from the Psalms, dated 1641.
