He has a rounded face with a prominent forehead, arched eyebrows, a medium-length mustache, and a evenly trimmed beard. His hair appears curly and above his ears. The man is wearing an elaborate outfit with a high, lace-trimmed collar, metal buttons or studs, and a sash crossed over his chest. He is holding a compass in his left hand against a sea chart on a surface. The background has a textured, crosshatched pattern. Text at the bottom identifies him as "Sr Francis Drake."
