The image shows two full-length figures and an additional portrait in an engraving. On the left, an armored warrior stands gesturing and holding a long spear. On the right, a crowned figure with curly hair, wearing an ornate robe with a high collar, holds a scepter. Both figures flank a text block with a portrait of a bearded man labeled "Xenophon." Below this, a framed portrait depicts an older man in Elizabethan attire seated and holding a paper. The background includes architectural columns and arches, as well as labeled plinths beneath each figure.
