The image shows a detailed engraving of a man's upper body. The man is in a seated position, facing slightly to his right. He has a middle-aged or older facial appearance with a beard and mustache. His hair is short and covered with a cap. The man is wearing a textured jacket or doublet with buttons and a large ruff collar around his neck. There are no identifiable objects in his hands. The background is plain with a textured pattern within an oval border. Symbols above the border include a shield with crosses in a circle on the left and a triangle with stars on the right. At the bottom, there is Latin text "GULIELMUS CAMDENUS CLARENTIUS ÆTATIS LVIII. M.DC.IX."
