Titian

Artist After, Venetian, 1488/1490 - 1576

The image depicts a woman seated on a rock, holding an infant in her arms. The woman is positioned sideways, leaning forward, while the child is cradled against her chest. Both figures have soft, rounded facial features. The woman's hair is styled in a wavy manner around her head. She appears to be wearing a loose garment. There are no visible jewelry in their hands. The background shows a detailed natural setting with large trees and lush foliage, creating a woodland atmosphere. There is a small plaque in the lower left corner attributing the artwork to Titian, created by Nicolas Boldrinus in 1567.
